Reading is fundamental and uniformity in teaching is a must.
Restoration supports the research from multiple disciplines that explains how children learn to read and write, the science of reading. All students in their formative years will have a foundation that focuses on the following areas: phonological awareness, phonics and word recognition, vocabulary and oral language comprehension and text comprehension. In other words, Restoration supports the movement to back to basics to improve literacy instruction from Pre-K to adults that includes vocabulary building, learning synonyms, homonyms, reading and reporting the “who, what, when, where, why and how” in current events, critical thinking.
